Get to know Me
This work asks you to share a lot of yourself. So, here are a few things about Kassandra.
Kassandra Mourikis (she/her)
Hey, I’m Kass.
My pronouns are she/her. I am warm, caring, congruent, open-minded and aim to be authentic and transparent in as many ways as I can. Sessions with me are relaxed, informal and as safe and comfortable as I can make them. That means sometimes we get to lay on the floor & move around as part of what feels supportive and helps us get into our bodies.
I am a white, queer, cis woman living and working as an uninvited inhabitant on the lands of the Kulin nation, in Naarm (Melbourne). I am disabled and neurodivergent and navigate the world with heightened sensitivity.
I have immense privilege that has afforded me opportunities to study and work in the sexology field, space to continue learning and running a private practice. The work I do is one part of my advocacy and activism and creates opportunities for sharing political education, caring and supporting a wide range of communities and supporting people to connect with themselves and their value.
My absolute favourite thing is reading horror that is weird, subversive, intersectional and explores all the horrors of real life through a radical, strange and creepy scope. I equally love drinking tea, walking in the bush with my dogs, being with my family, friends, peers and connecting with and building community.
